Turtley Speech
is a pediatric speech therapy private practice based in Sussex County, NJ. We haven’t found the perfect office space yet…so for now, we come to you!
We believe every child deserves the chance to make their voices heard and understood. Eliana knows how important it is for children to feel comfortable and safe, especially when learning new skills. We meet children on their level and play how they want to play, all while being one of their biggest fans and supporters.
Family is key to success for pediatric speech and language therapy, and Eliana enjoys including the family in on the fun! Keeping caregivers and siblings involved during sessions helps with carry-over, which helps the child make progress faster.
Don’t get Eliana wrong, she has a blast building connections and working with children, but her goal is for the child to graduate from speech therapy with so many new skills!
You may be wondering how she came up with the name Turtley Speech. Well, that’s easy, she has ALWAYS loved turtles. A few years ago, Eliana was gifted a mug that said “I turtley love you,” and she loved the word play!
And don’t forget. . .
Practice Makes Progress
Meet Eliana
Founder and Owner of Turtley Speech, Eliana Casqueira, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist who is dedicated to help children build their communication skills by using child-led, play-based clinical practices.
Each child has their unique interests, strengths and challenges, and Eliana is a firm believer in including all three during evaluations and treatments to promote stronger skill development. She works closely with families to keep them informed of progress, new developments, and suggested carry-over techniques for caregivers.
Eliana received a Master of Science degree from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. She holds a NJ state speech-language pathology license, the NJ speech-language specialist certification and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Eliana has experience working for other private practices and local schools, but since starting the journey to become a speech therapist, it was always her dream to open her own private practice.
